Wednesday Nights

During youth group, our 6-12 graders connect with God and others through games, Biblical teaching, and small group community. Our vision is to nurture life-long faith that not only hears God's Word but puts it into practice. Due to Covid-19, we'll meet outside in the Crosstown garage for as long as weather permits. Bring your own lawn chair and mask.

Instead of Kids Too!, families will gather together on Wednesday evenings for a time of worship music, Bible teaching, and fun.  Families of all ages are invited.  Families will gather and sit together in the sanctuary where Pastor Matt and Pastor Polly will lead fun faith growth.  Families Together will ONLY MEET TWICE a MONTH and will follow all the Covid-19 safety regulations.

"Color of Compromise" Discussion Group:  You are invited to join Pastor John and others for a weekly conversation as we seek to move forward in racial righteousness.  This adventure begins on Wednesday, September 23 (6:30 pm in person; 8 pm on Zoom).  We’ll continue meeting for 10 weeks through December 2.  These gatherings are a proactive response to the events of this summer in both our community and nation.  Jemar Tisby is a disciple of Jesus whose work takes us through the history of sustained racism and injustice in the American church.  Participants are invited to read his book The Color of Compromise, but you can participate without doing so.  This volume is presently on the New York TImes best-seller list.  Each week we’ll launch into our gathering with a video from Jemar that is both challenging and hope-filled.  This disciple-building process will include listening, learning and lamenting so that we can advance as followers of Jesus who are engaging with Jesus’ call to work against racism.
