PEACE- Advent in Ethiopia

DEVOTIONAL:  Is PEACE the opposite of fear?  Jesus tells us that he gives us PEACE so we don't have to be afraid.  As we meditate this week on the PEACE candle, it's hard to think of PEACE, and have PEACE when there is so much hardship, loss, death and injustice in the world.  Yet Jesus is our PEACE.  
SCRIPTURE:  John 14:27
"PEACE I leave with you; my PEACE I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

BREATH PRAYER:  Use this breath prayer this week as you meditate on the PEACE candle.
Inhale:  The Prince of PEACE has come
Exhale:  Glory to God
**Do you know about breath prayer?  It's as simple as breathing.  You inhale with one simple stanza (prayer) and out with another.  The simplicity of it allows us to pray all throughout our day.  The significance of it allows us to inhale and exhale connection with God all throughout the day!  Give it a try!

2.  In what ways do you attempt to find PEACE in the world?  How can you find PEACE in the Source - Jesus?
