Encourage a DC Grad
We were so encouraged to hear about the faith of our young people during their Discipleship Confirmation journey. These students persevered through weekly classes, homework assignments, monthly mentorship, Saturday Intensives, and a four-part final project. They learned core theological concepts like the image of God, the trinity, sacraments, atonement, and the purpose of the church.
On Sunday, August 14th Austin Gillen, Isaiah Gillen, Leif Torkelson, Josephine Johnson, and Santiago Jacques will be presenting their final projects during worship. Make sure to tune in and check out their creativity with paint, film, composition, and more.
As they conclude this class, pray for them to shine the light of Jesus boldly and brightly everywhere they go. Pray for them to see how God wants to use them for kingdom impact right now. Lastly, pray against an enemy who speaks fear and lies into their already vulnerable minds.

It was great to hear all of your "reports" at the DC dinner. Austin, thanks for being an encouraging presence. Santi, thank you for your vulnerability and introspection. I am glad you have found comfort in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah, thanks for keeping it real and sharing how you see God working in your life.
